While we will get to know all of the details on 5th July, we do know it will most probably have a 125cc engine. The CNG tank will also be placed under the rider's seat while it would be embedded within the structure of this motorcycle while the seat may have to be removed to access it. The position of the petrol tank retains its conventional position but it could be smaller. We expect this Bajaj CNG motorcycle to be the most efficient two-wheeler in India and that would be crucial given the high running costs of petrol motorcycles. Bajaj will also price it competitively to not make it too premium for buyers as too high an asking price could deter buyers. The design would also be different when compared to their other motorcycles while some basic functionalities would also be kept in mind. The 125cc engine would be switching from petrol to CNG but will start in petrol. Another crucial element would be how much this bike would be the weight and what the additional weight would be over standard petrol motorcycles. It could be possible that Bajaj will offer multiple variants of this CNG bike to make it more appealing from a price point. Many details have been kept secret and all will be revealed soon, it could be a game changer for motorcycles in terms of lower running costs since electric ones are still catching up.
