| Video Discription | Vicky Roy, a rag picker in Delhi, to a dishwasher in a street restaurant, to the world-renowned photographer, to an activist and motivator, to be honoured in Forbes, to a documentary maker, Vicky has seen all colours of life. He portrays his journey as a series of pictures he clicked over the years. The pictures highlight his contribution to Indian villages and tribes which are long forgotten. He concludes by showing some funny yet bitter true images breakingstereotypes. Vicky Roy has taken his street dreams to their pinnacle from the trials and tribulations of being a dhaba-boy and fighting against the pain and pathons of grinding poverty,literally with no possessions other than irresistible aspiration , relentless hard work and a determination to live a better life. He says:" If you want to do something in your life then you will always have to work hard; there is no shortcut to success. If you want to make your dreams come true , keep an eye on them. By fleeing the fears of obstacles , you will never succeed." This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
