From the Center, Rs. 4,977 crore. The decision was made to allocate this amount for 85 road projects in AP. The Central Road Transport Department has made these allocations in the annual budget proposed by the central government. Elections will be held in another year in AP. Earlier, CM Jagan had proposed proposals from the government during his visit to Delhi. The Center responded positively to this. The Center has allocated Rs 4,977 crore for the construction of road over bridges. Under these projects, the Center has spent Rs 5,098.98 crore till March 2022. The budget said it had allocated Rs 4,977.28 crore in the fiscal year 2023-24. This includes adaptation, repairs and expansion work. Of these, Rs 120.88 crore for the modernization of the National Highway 167B from the Malakonda to the Singaraya Hill and Rs 146.31 crore to the National Highway 565 in the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam. Rs 144.35 crore has been sanctioned from Duttalur to NH 167 BG in the center of the Kavali. 143.36 crore for the expansion of NH440 from Rayachoti to Vempally. Between Gudivada -Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Bhimavaram, the construction of two Arvobi and Rs 100.22 crore for the repairs of Gudivada bypass.
