But all indians love eating Green Pease Recipes. Especially in winters, when we get fresh pease, we make many recipes like Matar Paneer, Matar usal Recipe, Mix Veg Sabjis, but out of these Matar Pulao recipe is all time favourite for everyone. In Maharashtra we say it as Watane Bhat Recipe, Lagnachya Pangatitil Masale bhat. In every maharashtrian home, Masale Bhat Recipes is made atleast once or twice in a week. Comfort food for every Indian / Maharashtrian Home. But today we are making Green Pease Pulao Recipes and to prepare this we are adding Green Fresh Coriander Watan. Something Different, yet easy to cook and delicious food. Maharshtrian Watane Bhat Recipe | Lagnachya Pangatitila Masala Bhat Recipe - • Wash the rice well and soak for 15-20 minutes OR you can just wash and keep it onto a strainer for 15-20 minutes. • Into a mixer jar take Ginger, Garlic, Green Chillies, Mint Leaves, Fresh Coriander, Cloves, Cinnamon, Black pepper, add some water and grinde. • Heat up some oil into a kadhai / pressure cooker to this add cumin seeds and bay leaves • To this add sliced onion and saute until onions get translucent. • Then to thai add ready watan, green peas and salt and saute for sometime. • Then add soaked / washed rice, mix gently. • To this, add water, salt if required, powdered spices and lemon juice & bring it to boil. • Once water from the rice is boiling, turn the heat to low, cover the lid and take 1-2 whistles. Or cover the kadhai and cook on low heat if preparing into kadhai. • Once done add some ghee to the ready Masale Bhat, some fresh finely chopped coriander and Serve hot with Salad, Chutney, Pickle or Papad.
