| Video Discription | Many cups of coffee later and the smell of lemon out of the lemon tea we watch Rameshwari making, Team Pulimurugan at Firefly Creative Studio, gave birth to The Puli. And the journey on this one has been fascinating. From observing each movement and expressions and adding textures along with the excitement in bringing the tiger alive, the whole team enjoyed working on it and also learning along their journey. We were approached by Peter Hein (Action Choreographer) and Vysakh (Director) with a story and the belief that we would give them the best, Pre-viz was started. The work on bringing the tiger alive began. It included lot of emotional action sequences capturing the details and expressions. with a lot of closeups. Making the fur was one of the challenging tasks and our team pulled it off well. The story has Murugan having rivalry towards tigers from childhood. He starts hunting tigers,which are danger to the villagers. He is then called Pulimurugan, but he has to face the tigers as well as the dangerous humans, as he gets forced to move out of the forest. Puliyoor, a small village inside the forest is vulnerable to man-eating tigers and often results in bloodshed. Murugan lost his father in a tiger attack. In vengeance, Murugan kills tigers. Murugan has a daughter, Chakki. He hunts down and kills tigers whenever they invade the village.People of the village start calling him Pulimurugan. And the story follows after.
