Witness the resilience and power of a woman in the face of adversity in this compelling cinematic masterpiece. शक्ति - द पावर साल 2002 में आयी एक एक्शन ड्रामा फिल्म है, जिसका निर्देशन कृष्ण वामसी ने किया है। इस फिल्म में करिश्मा कपूर, नाना पाटेकर और संजय कपूर लीड रोल में है और इनके ईद-घिर सारी कहानी को दिखाया गया है। इस फिल्म में एक मां की शक्ति और बच्चे की सुरक्षा के लिए उसके स्ट्रगल और एक मां के दर्द को बहुत संजीदगी के साथ दिखाया है। फिल्म की कहानी में कनाडा में रहने वाले एक भारतीय जोड़े शेखर (संजय कपूर) और नंदिनी (करिश्मा) की है। अचानक ही शेखर को अपने घर राजस्थान से हिंसा की खबर आती है और वह अपने माता-पिता को देखने के लिए इंडिया आता है साथ ही पत्नि नंदिनी को भी अपने मां-बाप से मिलवाने के लिए साथ ले जाता है। नंदिनी की जिंदगी तब बदल जाती है, जब वह बेटे को लेकर इंडिया में पति के घर जाती है। वहां जाकर नंदिनी को पता चलता है कि शेखर के पिता नरसिम्हा (नाना पाटेकर) इलाके के बहुत बड़ा गुंडा हैं और उनके घर में खून-खराबा होना आम बात है... इस बीच नरसिम्हा का दुश्मन शेखर की हत्या करवा देता है। पति की मौत के बाद नंदिनी बुरी तरह टूट जाती है और वापस कनाडा लौटने की कोशिश में जुट जाती है ताकी गांव के हिंसा का असर उसके बेटे पर न हो। इसमें नंदिनी का साथ जय सिंह (शाहरूख खान) देता है। अब जय सिंह के साथ नंदिनी ने कौन-कौन से मुमकिन काम को अंजाम दिया देखिये फिल्म में...
