| Video Discription | Hulivesha or Tiger dance is a dance form that has it's roots deep in Karnataka and Kerala's culture. This dance is extensively performed during dasara in the honour of godess Durga, who's believed to ride a Tiger. The dancers can be seen painted completely from top to bottom with patterns mimicking that of a tiger or a leopard. A furry head gear is worn to complete the costume. The dance is accompanied with an energetic music which comprises of Nagaswara which is a trumpet like instrument and Thaase which is a drum. I feel super proud to be associated with this part of Karnataka. This video was shot and edited by me. I do not own the music that is used in the making of this video. Enjoy!
