It is meant as a guide for patients to follow at home after learning from their therapist. Doing the massage without the proper training is not recommended. Transcription: Fluid normally flows up in the inside of your leg into the lymph nodes in your groin. This step directs fluid away from where you have swelling up the side of your body into the functioning nodes of your underarm. Take the time now to position your leg on a low stool and/or pillow.
