This is music for prayer, worship, reflection & relaxation. I started off with one Konkani hymn and I kept getting requests for hymns which most people knew but had not heard in an instrumental form such as piano versions, because they were unavailable. There are individual versions on my channel but I thought of putting them together in one video for your nonstop listening pleasure. I have timestamps for easy navigation, so you can either go to your favorite hymn or listen to them all. Till date I have managed to upload about 37 songs - Piano instrumental hymns and hymns which have been sung by some of the finest singers from Goa. A little trivia behind it- It all started with the first lockdown that was imposed in Goa. I realized that the local people are missing their daily church visits to pray, weekly Sunday masses and the solitude that’s a given with anything religious and pious. That’s when I decided to work on some Konkani devotional music which is rarely available on Youtube. I then tried to look for some singers as the idea was to record new voices and give them a platform and an opportunity to showcase their talent but it was time consuming. Hence, I parallely started working on instrumental hymns on the piano so that there is always a steady flow of music. After getting a good response from the listeners in Goa and Goans based overseas, tried to keep at it and here I am - still making some more music. I hope to record many more new upcoming singers this year and share the music with all of you. A big THANK YOU to all the musicians, singers, my well-wishers and friends for the collaborations , sharing the songs widely and for all the love and support you have showered me with on my YouTube and other social media platforms.
