| Video Discription | Between July and August 2023, TNM’s Shabbir Ahmed and Nidharshana Raju visited close to 10 crematoriums and burial grounds across Chennai city and found that several of them have turned into waste dumping yards, storage facilities, or are ill-maintained. The burial grounds which accommodate Micro Composting Centres (MCCs) including those located in Nungambakkam, Kannamapet, Villivakkam and Mogappair are turning into waste dumping yards.
