She will remain in police custody till July 20 as ordered by a court in Pune district. Manorama and her husband Dilip Khedkar are allegedly involved in illegal land grabbing in both Pune and Ahmednagar districts. The Paud police in Pune rural have booked the Khedkar couple and five others under sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) including 323 (dishonest or fraudulent removal or concealment of property) and the Arms Act.
