| Video Discription | There are many aspects to ham radio. This is just one of them, working DX (over seas) contacts for competition or just for a chat. Here I show you a sample of contacting a few stations at random. This is only part of ham radio, I realize a lot of these are just quick contacts but it feels nice to know your signal is reaching other parts of the world. Near the end of the video I met a nice person and we had a long chat, most of it edited out of the video for time of course. So in ham radio you can also just ragchew and make friends and chat for a while, or you can get into contesting and make quick contacts and move on. Something for everyone I guess. |
