0:00 Alright, this is it - the third and final part of our Strength Training at Home Dumbbell Only series where I show you don’t need a fully decked out gym, or hours every day to build muscle and get in great shape.
In part one we worked the main pushing muscle groups chest, shoulders and triceps, in part two, we worked the main pulling muscles back, biceps and rear delts, now it’s time for the full body workout to train the lower body and fill in the gaps for the complete program .

Rob Riches here from Blue Star Nutraceuticals and today I’m back with part 3 of the Strength Training at Home dumbbell series, running you through a 30 minute dumbbell only full body workout to help you build the most amount of muscle in the least amount of time.
Now as I mentioned in parts one and two of the series, proper training is nothing without the proper nutrition and supplementation to make the most of your efforts.

First, you need to make sure you’re eating enough calories and protein to support muscle growth. You can easily estimate your daily calories by multiplying your bodyweight in pounds by 15. For protein, you should aim to get 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight each day.
For example if you’re 175 pounds, you should eat about 2750 calories and 175g of protein each day. Then you can fill in the rest of the calories with carbs and fats, focusing on minimally processed, high fiber carbs, and healthy fats like omega 3s.

For this workout you’ll perform 5 exercises in ascending and descending ladder fashion.
So you’ll perform 1 rep of each exercise for round one, 2 reps of each exercise for round 2, and so on until your 5th round, where you’ll perform 5 reps of each exercise - that’s the top of the ladder.
Then you’ll work your way back down, for the 6th round you’ll perform 5 reps, for the 7th round - 4 reps, until you reach the bottom on your 10th round, where you’ll perform just 1 rep of each exercise. That’s the end of round one.
Your goal is to complete as many rounds as you can within 30 minutes.
You should use a weight that is about 75% of your 1 Rep Max. So if you can row 90Lb dumbbells, you’ll use 70s for this exercise.
