| Video Discription | Goan Style Kalvanche Sukke l Oyster Masala l कालवाचे तोणक l Goan Seafood Recipe l @GoanSpiceHouse #kalvasukke #oystermasala #goanrecipe #goancuisine #seafoodrecipe #kalvanchesukke #kalvarecipe #goanspicehouse #konkani #cooking INGREDIENTS: Kalwa / oysters – 150 to 200 gms (cleaned and thoroughly washed 4 to 5 times) Oil – 3 to 4 tbsp Crushed ginger garlic – 2 tbsp Chopped green chilli – 1 Chopped onion – 1 big size Chopped tomato – 1 medium size Chopped fresh coriander leaves Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp Red chilli powder – ½ tsp Goan garam masala – 1 ½ tsp Kokum - 3 Fresh grated coconut – 3tbsp Salt as per taste METHOD/PREPARATION Step 1: Clean and thoroughly washed kalwa 4 to 5 times and keep aside. Step 2: In a kadai, add oil once oil heats. Add crushed ginger garlic and green chilli. Saute till raw smell of ginger garlic goes away. Add chopped fresh coriander leaves and chopped onion and saute till translucent. add chopped tomato and saute till tomato become soft (add a pinch of salt to soften the tomato fast). After tomato become soft add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and Goan garam masala. Mix well on low flame. now add kalwa and mix well. add kokum and again mix. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. after 5 minutes open the lid and stir for some time. add fresh grated coconut and salt to taste. Mix well and cover and cook for 5 minutes on low flame. don’t overcook. After 5 minutes open the lid and stir for some time. Add chopped fresh coriander leaves and mix. Serve with chapati or Goan Fish Curry Rice.
