| Video Discription | This 360 degree video was shot by Jano Gibson. Mindil Beach in Darwin is known for its stunning sunsets and popular markets. But once a year, the tourist site transforms into a kaleidoscope of colour as fireworks shimmer on the still waters of Darwin Harbour Australia’s tropical north. It’s all in celebration of Territory Day, the anniversary marking the moment the Northern Territory gained self-government 41 years ago. While thousands of people attend the main fireworks display at Mindil Beach, elsewhere across Darwin, others enjoy the freedom of being able to set off their own crackers – the last place in Australia that still allows the public to indulge in the explosive delights, albeit for only one day of the year. For you techies, this video was shot a Go Pro Fusion camera. It was rendered at 4K in Go Pro Fusion Studio, using the H.264 video codec, with D.Warp on. Then it was run through Adobe Premiere, where I used the GoPro VR plug-in to adjust the Horizon (to change the direction the view sees at the start of the shot). It was then put through Adobe Media Encoder, and finally uploaded to YouTube.
